Hello friends, family, and live music lovers! I cherish the opportunity performing gives me to make special moments even more memorable. There’s nothing quite like providing music for a special wedding day when that ribbon is in the sky for love. Last month, I was also honored to play gospel during a homegoing service, bringing comfort and upliftment to the family mourning a dear friend who left us too soon.

In a lighter vein, it’s always a delight to see guests at events rise from their seats to groove to an electric slide or even attempt to learn it while I perform my renditions of Earth, Wind & Fire or Beyoncé tunes. A particular moment at the Artesian Hotel and Casino last Valentine’s Day warmed my heart: witnessing an elderly lady momentarily leave her walker to enjoy the music with finger snaps and a beaming smile truly encapsulated the joy music can bring. The audience’s request for an encore was a testament to the shared joy, and I gladly topped off the night with another jam.

Having the right music on such occasions is pivotal, and it’s a joy unparalleled when I can contribute to making any day special with the right groove.
