As I settle into the latter portion of the year, I cannot help but reflect about how grateful and blessed I am. I have health, a sound mind, wonderful supporting wife, and an intelligent handsome son. Not to mention a wonderful supporting cast of friends, family, and music lovers that encourage and enable me to do what I love on the sax. It’s no secret that 2020 has been a dumpster fire, but I still have so much to be thankful for. 

Despite the 2020 curveballs thrown, I’ve been able to continue working for my employer. My employer filed bankruptcy in mid 2020 so there has been plenty of anxiety to go around. Despite these circumstances, God provided me a raise in income along with uninterrupted employment…AMEN!! 

We have a toddler and by default that translates to “we have a germ magnet.” Ironically, my toddler and consequently my family have been much healthier this year because of the hyper awareness around COVID and I’m thankful for that. 

2020 allowed me to play sax virtually and bring some light into what have been darker days for some. I performed for my first virtual family reunion this year providing a chance for a family to connect with others. The zoom show had everyone including aunts in California, a grandma in Texas, and even a niece stationed on active duty in Germany. Smaller more intimate shows have also been in higher demand which I love. Performing for a wonderful couple and audience of two was a joy and ensured we properly celebrated 5 years of marriage. 

There is so much to be thankful for which means there is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate. I’m your saxophonist and would love to help you make the day even more special. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me for your music needs no matter how big or small.
