What’s up friends, family, and those dancin’ in September members! August provided an opportunity to share great music outside of Oklahoma and that was a blast! Bassman Robert Banks and I traveled to Pine Bluff Arkansas to help a family celebrate 80 years of life however I still need to see an Arkansas identification because the young lady did not look a day over 55! When asked her secret to staying and looking young and beautiful, she mentioned the eating of her “…homemade biscuits” along with staying surrounded by a good community. My takeaway is that you stay young by keeping good food and good people in your life. By the way, this 80-year young lady knew how to “two-step”, good music was definitely in the equation!
The “…Night of Smooth R&B, Soul, Blues, and Jazz” show with 97.9 OKC’s smooth Jazz radio station was an absolute hit and the picture above is a snap from the event. Shout out to DGort Photography 360 for the photo image above and thank you all for coming out to support great music.
